My pottery comes in four colors; Dark Turquoise, Sky Blue, Bright Green, and Pink. As well as the main glaze color, I use raised, colored slips to add texture and additional colors.Finally, the flower pattern can have small flowers, or larger flowers. Each piece is completely handmade, and therefore, truly unique. No two are the same!
Everything in this section was formed without the use of the potter's wheel, or slip casting techniques. Each piece is one of a kind, because no two pieces will come out exactly the same.
Large Scalloped Vegetable Dish This is a handformed, terra cotta serving dish. It was decorated with raised. colored slips and vibrant glazes. The pottery in this section was either hand thrown on a potter's wheel, or it was made by molding a piece that was thrown on the potter's wheel. All pieces are still hand decorated, and get just as much care and attention as the hand formed pottery. The pottery wheel makes circular shapes, while hand formed shapes tend to be more asymmetrical, square, or rectangular.
